Wines and Prosecco Valdobbiadene Docg Perini Winery

Looking to the future with history in our heart

To get to know the history of Prosecco Valdobbiadene Docg we need to look back at the history of our winery. A story that dates back to 1800, when Dr. Giovanni Perini, major of Borca at the time, decided to buy a few tens of hectares of lands and the marvelous Villa Veneta, originally built in the 18th century, together with his two brothers Aristide and Giuliano on the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene in the plains of Treviso. Between the sixties and seventies Ernesto Perini, with the help of his son Giovanni and his wife Bernadette Dorigo started to grub up and replace the old vineyards with new plants (mostly Prosecco) giving life to the Perini Winery. A few years later, the modern technology of the “Charmat method” was purchased and integrated, becoming one of the first in that area. Today, the Perini brand, with the help of his son Alberto and daughter Paola, presents itself with an extraordinary wealth of experience, a fascinating history, and a bright future always dedicated to offering an excellent product. The Perini family has recently decided to renovate the entire production chain by purchasing an ultra-modern pressing and bottling system that will allow the already superb production to reach a new level of excellence, placing Perini San Giovanni among the most prestigious winery of Conegliano Valdobbiadene.
